Free Energy Sverige AB wins “Stora Inneklimatpriset” *

Free Energy Sverige AB wins the 15th annual award of “Stora Inneklimatpriset”. The award was presented in conjunction with the NORDBYGG-exhibition in Stockholm April 2016. The award was presented by Peter Fransson, head of department at Boverket.

The company was awarded for their innovative heat pump solution, Hybrid Solar System (HYSS) stating:

For the winner of 2015 “Stora Inneklimatspris” the jury nominate Free Energy Sverige AB for their Hybrid Solar system.

The Hybrid Solar System utilizes heat pump advantages in a unique way by use of renewable energy in a new and more efficient manner. By combining geoenergy´s opportunity for seasonal storage of solar energy and thermal solar energy’s opportunity for instantaneous power subsidy the Hybrid Solar System will achieve a very low energy consumption. The product is space saving and easy to install due to a well thought out prefabrication. A modern control and monitoring system, enabling the customer to get help with adjustments and problem solving by remote access, ensures that the promised performance can be accomplished. The system has good prerequisites for contributing to a comfortable indoor climate.

”Stora Inneklimatpriset” was founded in 2001 by Slussen Building Services in cooperation with Energi- och miljötekniska föreningen (Association of Energy and Environmental Engineering), Svensk Ventilation (Swedish Ventilation) and Svenska Kyltekniska Föreningen (Association of Swedish Cooling Techniques). The award aims to increase interest in indoor climate technologies, strengthening the position and attention in technologies that promotes healthy indoor climate in energy-efficient buildings.

”Stora Inneklimatpriset” is awarded enterprises or organizations, within indoor climate, energy and HVAC, which has developed a significant product, service or methodology with excellent opportunities to come to practical use.

The Product/service/methodology should be innovative, contribute to a good indoor climate and limiting the use of resources in the long-term. The jury of ”Stora Inneklimatspriset” consists of representatives from trade organizations and Chairman Lars Ekberg, Professor in installation engineering at Chalmers University of Technology and in charge of Real Estate and Industry at CIT Energy Management AB.

Besides the winner, HSB Riksförbund, the Swedish Government and Swegon AB were nominees for the award among 40 other proposals.
